Marissa was exceptional to work with, and I'm so so happy that she was responsible for my GLAM wedding look! My goal when finding a stylist was to look like an enhanced version of myself, and Marissa was so thoughtful/professional/on-point in helping me achieve that look! Getting to hang with Marissa for the hair and makeup trial pre-wedding was also delightful, and really helped me feel comfortable with the whole process. My day-of look was exactly what I'd hoped for, looked literally perfect in photos, and stayed put through hours of dancing + pictures in the snow. Look no further- hire Marissa. She's extremely cool + extremely talented!!

Marissa came to my wedding venue for hair and makeup for my bridal party and me, and I’m so glad she did! Marissa is so sweet and easy to talk to, and she did an amazing job. I asked to tweak a few things with my hair and makeup in the months between my trial and the wedding, and she remembered everything I asked for and did just what I was hoping for. She also had reasonable minimums to travel to the venue, so I didn’t have to force any bridesmaids to have hair and makeup done professionally who preferred to do it themselves (or cover the cost), which was important to me. I’ve gotten so many comments on how amazing my hair looked. In the past, I’ve felt a little self conscious and not quite myself when wearing too much makeup - I shared that with Marissa, and on the wedding day she managed to make my makeup feel both really natural and just a little extra special while looking great in photos. Definitely recommend going with Marissa! 

"Marissa is a dream to work with. She’s professional, personable and willing to work with you to get the look you want. She was able to take my ideas and make them into something even more than I could have imagined. She also took a picture I found, that turned out to be much more challenging than we expected, and was able to tweak it so it would stay in place for the whole evening. My hair and makeup were absolutely perfect for my wedding day, and looked just as good at the end of the night as it did at the start. I would highly recommend Marissa to anyone!"

"When planning our wedding, I knew I wanted something different for hair and makeup. I’m a ‘toss my hair in a top knot and wear no makeup’ kind of girl and was honestly a bit nervous that any person I ‘hired’ for our big day would go crazy with the amount of hairspray and perfectionism that I wouldn’t feel like myself. Then I met Marissa. She got me. I got her. We were immediately a perfect fit. I felt like she was more a friend than a hired professional and if we would have met sooner she would have been there at our wedding with us! I showed her a photo for some inspiration and explained I’d love some type of braid for a more natural look then gave her full reign to do whatever she’d like. It felt amazing to be able to trust someone like that and not wonder if you’d like what you’d end up with. I showed her a crown of greenery I’d wear for much of the day and she perfectly created a hairstyle to work with it. When it came to the makeup Marissa listened to me about keeping it natural looking and very minimal. When seeing my husband for the first time after getting all ‘dolled up’ he said I looked incredibly beautiful because I still looked like me and that meant the world. The valley is lucky to have Marissa and her talents in it. I cannot recommend her enough!"

"I worked with Marissa for my wedding hairstyle and she made the experience so enjoyable! We did a trial and she was able to perfect the style I was looking for on the first try! Come wedding day my look was perfect again and lasted throughout the day without a lot of hairspray which I requested. "I would definitely recommend Marissa as a hair stylist and makeup artist! She did my hair and makeup for my wedding this past August and I looked so good I hardly recognized myself. "I am so happy Marissa was available for my wedding day! Marissa truly is an artist and a professional. It was so nice to not have to worry about my hair and makeup and just let her do her thang. She does such a fantastic job! She listens to what you like, and will make adjustments and recommendations based on your hair type. And I highly recommend doing the trial with her; it let us get a handle on what we wanted to do, but also it made me so excited for the actual big day! After cancelling our 2020 wedding, it had been a while since I felt like a "bride-to-be", but my trial with Marissa really got me back into the spirit of things! She will play with any clips you bring in, test out your veil placement, try different things until you get to what you want. And ultimately on the big day I felt glamorous and beautiful, but also like I still looked like myself (and I do not ever wear makeup, so I was a little worried about that) so I am so glad I hired Marissa!!"

"Marissa is simply the best! Her and her crew did hair and makeup for me, my 10 bridesmaids, mom and MIL for my 11/21/20 wedding. She was so organized and on top of it. Her work was amazing and I got countless compliments on both my hair and makeup as did my bridesmaids. I usually don't wear heavy makeup so she did an incredible job with a natural “glow up.” I also live in CA so I couldn’t do a makeup trial, but I trusted Marissa as she came with raving reviews from my wedding planner. "Marissa!! This girl has got it going on! I honestly feel like I hired a 3rd sister to join my wedding day. We laughed, we cried (literally lol), and we had a great time all while Marissa was absolutely nailing our hair and make up. I am notorious for being tardy to the party and I had a huge fear of getting behind schedule with hair and make up but Marissa was never behind, stayed calm, and she did a stunning job.
